On October 27, 2009, the Freehold Township Committee adopted an ordinance allowing the placement of up to six directional signs for homes being sold in the township, providing that the signs are at least 1/2 mile apart from each other. Under the newly adopted ordinance, no permits are required to place directional signs in Freehold Township. NJAR® worked with the Monmouth County Association of REALTORS® to reach out to the Freehold Township Committee regarding this issue.
